The Latin American Journal of Economic Development, in 19 years of uninterrupted biannual publications, is the result of the joint effort of the Institute of Socio-Economic Research of the Bolivian Catholic University "San Pablo", the Department of Economics of the UCB La Paz branch, the Society of Economists of Bolivia and the Bolivian Academy of Economic Sciences, in their desire to promote research and create an impact on public opinion. This issue contains four articles on topics related to the economic and social development of Bolivia and Latin America. We are pleased to invite you to read the 38th issue of LAJED.
