Abstract

It's been almost five years of recession and the economy does not seem to recover. It is worth reviewing the causes of the crisis, why is it so long and what the prospects are. It is also worth noting that, although the recession is prolonged, it has not been as dramatic as it is sometimes presented, at least until February 2003.
