Review Policy
The editorial board of the LAJED Journal reserves the right to reject articles that do not align with its editorial policy. Once an article has been accepted by the board, it must undergo international peer review using the double-blind peer review method to avoid conflicts of interest. Finally, the peer review report will indicate the suitability of the publication, any necessary revisions, or the rejection of the submission. The Editorial Board will consider the recommendations of the review and will then decide whether or not to proceed with the publication of the article. Acknowledgment of receipt will be sent for articles submitted to the LAJED Journal for consideration; however, the original manuscript and supplementary materials will not be returned, nor will correspondence regarding them be maintained. The acceptance or rejection of articles will be communicated to the corresponding author according to the established schedule.
ORIGINALITY CRITERIA
The LAJED journal maintains strict requirements regarding the ORIGINALITY of the scientific articles it publishes, for which the authors are solely responsible.
Scientific articles submitted to the LAJED Journal, after passing the editorial review and before being sent for double-blind peer review, are checked using Turnitin, a platform specialized in detecting textual similarity and supporting academic integrity.
Turnitin allows for the identification of matches with external sources and provides tools that help the editorial team assess the originality, authenticity, and academic integrity of the submitted documents. This review is part of the editorial process of the LAJED Journal and contributes to strengthening best practices in citation, transparency, and ethics in scientific publishing.
Submitted works must be unpublished. Otherwise, the name and date of the publication in which it previously appeared, the publisher’s address, and a letter from the publisher authorizing its reproduction must be included.
